Position Overview: As a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced clinical assessments, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, and promote health education and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct advanced clinical assessments, including physical examinations and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Requirements:


  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Masters level or equivalent).
  • Prescribing qualification (V300) and independent prescribing rights.
  • Proven experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in primary care settings.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
