Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time or Part-Time Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a forward-looking and innovative GP practice, situated in a state-of-the-art purpose-built Health Centre in Eastbourne (BN22). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £52,000 - £64,000 per annum plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Profile

As an ANP you will play a vital role in the delivery of care to patients, those who are house bound or in care homes as well as on site by running your own surgeries.

• Job Type: Full-time or part-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week – full-time equivalent).


• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday; 8am – 6:30pm.


• Job Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN22


• Salary: The attractive inclusive salary range for this role is £52,000 - £64,000 per annum and will be dependent upon skills and experience.

Key Duties

• Running specialised clinics for identified patient cohorts (approx. 15 patients’ p/clinic – mix of F2F & telephone consultations).


• Conducting holistic assessments and managing house-bound patients (approx..2 hone visits)


• Contributing to Quality Improvement Activities


• Participating in Extended Access services and surgery-based clinics


• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for a holistic approach to care

Skills & Experience

• Relevant nursing/health degree and independent prescribing qualification.


• Masters-level qualification (Advanced Practitioner) is advantageous.


• Experience in both Primary and Secondary Care and/or a GP Practice.


• Provide basic and advanced life support as well as general clinical advice and clinical support to all colleagues and learners in practice.


• Ability to select and prescribe a wide range of medicines appropriately.


• Familiarity with EMIS Clinical Record System is desirable.


• UK driving license and car ownership.
