We are currently recruiting for an Adoptions and Utilities Manager to join a housing developer based on the outskirts of Taunton.

This Adoptions and Utilities Manager position comes with a wide variety of responsibilities across Planning, Post-Planning & Site Start, Construction, and Site Completion.
Planning will include roles such as making technical reports for land appraisals, contacting utility providers and liaising with Civil Engineers, and ensuring industry regulations are up to standard. Post-planning consists of utilities management, managing change of responsibility, and preparing information for planning conditions, making it vital that candidates are both organised and well-informed about the current industry.
For the Construction aspect of the role, candidates will be exposed to responding to site queries, monitoring site programmes, and supporting management of services. Finally, Site Completion will include arranging inspections with relevant authorities, communicating with contractors, and advising energy providers when required.
The salary for this position ranges from £35,000-£55,000 depending on previous experience, as well as numerous additional working bonuses, such as a company car.
The Role: Adoptions and Utilities Manager
Relevant experience in similar position with a recognised housing developer (or with a highway/water authority of NAV)
Need detailed understanding of Highway and Water industry standards
Capable managing and monitoring S104/S185/S278 & S38 application process to ensure agreements are in place to meet programme
Working knowledge of processes for making utilities enquiries, capacity requirements etc.
Willing to grow skillset and develop with company
