We are looking to recruit to a Team Leader for busy Admissions department at Whipps Cross Hospital.To provide support to Scheduling Delivery Manager and to cover when delivery manager is annual leave and manager a team of schedulersThe postholder will lead a team of schedulers to ensure efficient and effective systems of work are carried out.To go Daily Ops meeting and theatre planning meeting.To run PTL meeting and manage day to dayReporting to the Scheduling Delivery ManagerAnd will be versed in RTT 18 weeks policies and processes. This post will be playing an important role in the co-coordinating of patients through their clinical pathway in line with the 18 weeks Programme.You will be supporting the Service's monthly Clinical Governance and mortality meetings, by ensuring there is dedicated administrative support to the meeting. Including preparation, co-ordination of documentation and follow-up of all administrative actions.You will be expected to work together with the administrative and clinical teams to provide high quality care for patients within all specialties.The ability to forge close working relationships with Hospital administration staff, Clinical staff and other colleagues is essential to the post. As is the ability to multitask, prioritize, and have excellent communication skills both written and oral. A working knowledge of excel and other Microsoft programs is essential as is the experience of electronic patient record systems.Main duties of the jobThe purpose of this post is to actively manage the administrative processes of patient pathways and 18-week target, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their treatment by the Trust.
