The client are a manufacturer and supplier of components, products andsystemsto various industry sectors. They despatch to a global customer base and, due to continued confidence in the sectors they supply into, are seeking to recruit an Administrator.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the main purpose of the administrator role is to play a key administrative role in supporting of the sales team across all streams of the business.
Responsibilities / Job duties are as follows;
Process of sales orders onto the company SAP system
Producing and organising of sales documentation, order acknowledgements, shipping documents etc
Any other administrative tasks required by the department
Liaise with engineering and production teams as required
Supporting the other members of the sales team when needed
Ensure customer communications are healthily maintained
As an Administratoryou will need to hold the following skills and experience.
Have experience of working in an administration role within a manufacturing business
Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent Microsoft Office / Excel skills
A methodical approach to tasks
Excellent communication skills face to face and on the phone
Able to prioritise workloads
Have a pleasant and professional manner
