Our client are leading specialists in refurbishment and responsive building maintenance, they are dedicated to upholding the highest standards for existing buildings. Their extensive expertise in the maintenance and renovation process equips them with the knowledge needed to elevate a property to the desired standards.



They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrative/Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, and contributing to the smooth operation of their projects.



Main Duties:




  • Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.

  • Track and follow up on client payments, addressing any billing inquiries.

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally.

  • Collaborate with managers and support them where needed.

  • Assist in purchasing orders, contracts, permits, and client communications.

  • Respond to customer and client inquiries and provide information about services offered.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project details, client information, and vendor contacts.

  • Enter data into relevant software systems and databases.

  • Assist in the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, and other documents.



Criteria:




  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.



Job type: Part time, permanent



Salary: Up to £25,000 pro rata



Contracted Job Hours: 3 days a week, 9am - 4pm
