AdministratorNHS AfC: Band 3Job overviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become an Administrator within the Lincoln South Integrated Placed Based Team (IPBT).The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations run smoothly whilst meeting challenges head on. We require a highly organised and motivated individual to ensure comprehensive administrative services are provided to support both the clinical and non-clinical team.The successful applicant will need to be organised, methodical and be willing to develop their role with the needs of the service.Applicants will have a good standard of general education and have previous experience of working to targets.This varied and interesting role would be an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a busy team and wants to make a real difference to improving our services. Typing and producing letters, reports, faxes and e-mails to an accepted standard of quality and accuracy as required.Responsible for making room bookings and maintaining room booking diary.Assist in scheduling of appointments and diary management as appropriate using Microsoft calendarAssist in the stock control and electronic ordering of all office equipment and stationery; and the subsequent electronic receipting of all received supplies.Assist in the proper functioning, maintenance and fault reporting of central equipment used by the Team, e.g. photocopiers, fax machines, printers, computers etc.Record all data using the appropriate information system or manually where this is required including data entry, word processing, scanning of documents for e-noting and storage.Person specificationQualificationsNVQ level 3 Business and Administration or equivalent experience working in an office environmentECDL or equivalent including basic knowledge of all MS Office packages – including Microsoft Office calendar for diary managementGCSE in English, grades A-C or grade 9-4 or level 2 Literacy or equivalent;ExperienceRelevant experience of working in a general administrative backgroundPrevious experience working within a NHS TrustSkillsUnderstands Code of Conduct in relation to Data Protection and Information Governance.Organise and plan straightforward activities relating to own workload on a day to day basis, some on going, adjusting own workload in response to prevailing circumstances.Managing own activity within sphere of responsibility.
