Start Date : June 2024
Hours : 21 per week, working from Dundreggan Rewilding Centre. Rota working along with weekends and bank holidays.

Trees for Life is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to work at its new Rewilding Centre in beautiful Dundreggan. The Rewilding Centre opened in April 2023 and includes an innovative visitor experience and education centre, a café, events and educational facilities. The Rewilding Centre is an inspiring location where visitors of all ages, interests and backgrounds can explore the natural, Gaelic and cultural heritage of the Highlands and be inspired and educated about rewilding and the restoration of the Caledonian Forest.
The Dundreggan Rewilding Centre will welcome an estimated 30,000-40,000 visitors each year, including a mix of day visitors, education groups, special interest groups and overnight guests staying at the on-site accommodation. The role will be part of a small team responsible for coordination and delivery of all parts of the Rewilding Centre operation.
The Rewilding Centre is open seven days a week from April to November and as such, requires additional support to maintain a high standard of customer service and operations support. As the part-time Administration Assistant at our flagship Rewilding Centre, you will be responsible for working alongside the full-time Administration Assistant to supporting the work of the Rewilding Centre Director, Operations Manager, Visitor Experience team, Marketing Manager, Property Manager and Hospitality team.
The role will be accountable for: day to day administrative duties in support of the Rewilding Centre management team, updating ticketing and accommodation bookings system, regular coverage of the welcome desk, taking ticket bookings on-site/via email, processing payments for tickets, checking in/out overnight guests staying at the accommodation, routing and responding to incoming telephone/email enquiries, creating guest invoices, processing supplier invoices, managing orders of office supplies.
