Administration & Accounts Co-ordinator

Are you an experienced administrator with a knack for numbers? Then keep reading! I'm currently working on a great opportunity with one of the UK's top food companies that are best known for fresh and locally sourced products.

What will you day look like?

You'll report directly into the Site Manager and the main purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely accounting support to the business in a wide range of tasks including:

  • Responsible for completing monthly accruals for accounts.
  • Completing monthly and quarterly returns.
  • Completing spreadsheets, such as fuel and haulage costs.
  • Complete DAERA returns monthly and quarterly.
  • Monitoring KPIs daily and reporting on these for weekly site management meetings.
  • Create and receipt purchase orders in a timely manner and updating spreadsheets on a daily basis.
  • Monitoring all purchase orders, ensuring dockets are filed and the orders are completed and posted on the system as required.
  • Monitor all Vendor Invoice Management queries and ensure these are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Attending meetings and conference calls when required.
  • Working in both the office and mill environments in accordance with the role.
  • Attending relevant managerial and site meetings and minute taking.
  • General office duties, including distributing company mail, photocopying, assisting with telephone/reception duties and managing hygiene requirements.

Does this sound like you?

You'll have worked in a similar role and ideally within the food/agriculture sector. It would be advantageous if you have a relevant qualification.

You'll need to have excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage and meet deadlines, computer literate in MS office and be a good written and verbal communicator. A willingness to participate in training and development opportunities within the business.

Working hours are 8:00- 16:00, however there could be an element of flexibility around these.
