North Ayrshire Carers Gateway Admin & Evaluation Officer - Unity - £22,000 per annum with a pending pay rise to £24,222 effective from 01/04/#####.



Full time - 35 hours per week including some evening and weekend work on occasions - position available on permanent basis based in Irvine.



21 HSC are currently looking to recruit a Admin & Evaluation Officer for a charitable organisation based in Irvine, North Ayrshire. The charity provides a variety of support to people who are vulnerable, disadvantaged or a risk of exclusion across the West of Scotland.



The Admin & Evaluation Officer undertakes a variety of vital administrative duties within the Gateway service, enabling the wider team to invest the maximum time in directly supporting carers. They also ensue ongoing evaluation of all services, monitoring all Gateway systems and providing regular reports which are central to statutory monitoring and in the future planning and development of the Carers Gateway service.



Key Roles and Responsibilities:




  • Responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to the Gateway Manager and other staff across the service as required.

  • Responsible for oversight of the Charity Log system, ensuring it is functioning as required at all times.

  • Responsible for interrogating data from Gateway systems to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the services.

  • Responsible for interrogating data from Gateway systems to identify trends or ways in which services, systems or processes can be improved to better support unpaid carers.

  • Responsible for compiling qualitative and quantitative data for inclusion in monthly monitoring reports.

  • Assist the Gateway Manager and other staff in booking meetings, venues and events.

  • Attend meetings as directed by the Gateway Manager to ensure minutes and action points are recorded accurately.



Essential/Desirable Skills and Attributes




  • It is essential to be educated to standard grade General Level or equivalent in a minimum of four subjects one of which should be English.

  • Experience in exporting data from Excel is essential.

  • Qualifications in administration is desirable.

  • Driving licence is desirable.
