Permanent part time position - based on 20 hours per week, the exact
working pattern can be flexible but must include our core hours between 11am and 1pm Monday
to Friday.
Salary equates to circa £11.44 per hour

What you’ll be doing
Your role will be to ensure a proactive and professional administrative support service is
delivered to both external customers and internal colleagues and teams at our learning centre.
The day-to-day duties are varied and will include taking the centre bookings, processing
financial transactions, and keeping accurate records for the centre.
As the first point of contact for customers visiting, phoning, and emailing enquiries to us,
you will be committed to delivering the highest level of customer service and care, taking
pride in you all you do.

Where you’ll be based
The Field Studies Council Millport centre is situated on the Isle of Cumbrae in Scotland. It
has state of the art purpose-built conference facilities, twin bedroom ensuite accommodation
with sea views, plus 7 teaching spaces comprising classrooms and laboratories.
We host learners of all ages and backgrounds from nursery schools, primary and secondary
schools, universities, adults and research placements from all over the world.

We need someone to be able to hit the ground running in this role, so you will already have
some experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative role. In addition
