Purpose of the Role
Exciting remote opportunities have arisen to join our IT Operations team as a Support Services Analyst and a Business Solutions Specialist. These roles handle all day-to-day queries from our Acturis business users, providing expert guidance and supporting the business in improvement initiatives. There will also be project work supporting our new and existing business partners to achieve the optimum use of Acturis to ensure regulatory and business requirements are met alongside best practice.
What you will do
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:
Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of Acturis to handle day-to-day enquiries from users of Acturis to assist with:
Defects and system errors
Routine Queries
Change requests
Provide industry knowledge and technical systems expertise to assist brokers and partners in improving Acturis to maximise productivity and revenue, by improving processes thereby increasing their profitability.
Provide expert guidance and support to business improvement initiatives.
Assist in developing and managing software house relationships.
Identify areas of improvement through reporting & analysis.
Provide on-site consultations for System Health checks, identifying requirements for training.
Supporting users and business partners through system change, working alongside the software houses ensuring a smooth transition from existing system and minimising disruption to the business.
Support system administration tasks.
Who we are looking for
These opportunities are for experienced Acturis super users who are willing to work as part of a team and manage stakeholders at all levels. We are looking for those who have:
Extensive Acturis experience – not just as a broker/user but in supporting the technical workings and processes of the platform.
A good understanding of the insurance broking environment and processes, including client side financial transactions.
Good working relationships with software houses and clients/partners.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Technically competent and the confidence to build credibility amongst senior stakeholders.
Ability to handle multiple workflows.
Project management and systems testing experience would be preferred, although not essential.
You will need to be a self-motivated highly organised team player who can use their initiative to get tasks completed, accurately and to tight deadlines. Some travel to sites will be required as per business requirements.
