Your role will involve providing technical expertise and support to client teams and coaching and supporting a team of model experts.Location: Birmingham/Edinburgh/Glasgow/LondonCategory: Life ActuarialType: PermanentKey duties (including, but not limited to):Leading the delivery of modelling projects to help meet a high-quality standard of service for clientsRegularly review and validate existing models to ensure accuracy and relevanceProviding technical specialist expertise working collaboratively alongside client and technical teams. Work collaboratively in the preparation of models including checking work undertaken by more junior team membersDevelop internal networks and work across teamsProvide leadership, role modelling and mentoring to members of the technical teamManaging the delivery of modelling to efficiently improve profitability objectivesRelevant pensions experience. Note they are open to candidates who are taking exams as well as those who have decide not to take examsHas a good understanding of valuing UK pension scheme defined benefitsStrong technical actuarial skills and a preference to work on technical actuarial mattersExcellent Excel and VBA skillsR coding experienceWorking knowledge of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes
