That means we’re helping to improve our customers’ lives, and contributing to the success of the business every day.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for aStudent Actuary who has made progress through the initial IFoA Exams to join our Financial Reporting team in Hove as a Financial Reporting Analyst.In this role you will support on the delivery of accurate and timely financial results for all metrics (including but not limited to IFRS & Solvency II), as well as any supporting analysis and commentary to the appropriate business divisions as required.You will also provide regular and reliable updates to management to enable the team to disseminate financial information in an effective and informative manner, ensuring its presentation and analysis meet the varied background and experience of the customer base.As well as the above, you will also establish and maintain close working relationships with other teams and customers that are involved in the reporting process to ensure that results are delivered in a smooth, controlled and efficient manner. You will also work collaboratively with those colleagues to continually develop, maintain and improve the team’s financial reporting capabilities (e.g. systems, processes and reporting methodologies) for the ongoing production of the financial results.This is a hybrid working opportunity based from our Hove Offices, which will allow you to work from both your home and the office so that you can find a work/life balance that suits youQualificationsStudent Actuary who has madeprogress through the initial IFoA Exams.Previous experience within an Actuarial Role (with Life Insurance experience being highly preferable).Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with minimalguidance and use own initiative as required.A
