You will be responsible for data and experience analysis and reporting which will be used to understand variances to the assumptions used in the Life valuations model. Useful management information feeding into strategic objectives to understand and improve financial performance of the businessLocation: LondonCategory: Life ActuarialType: PermanentKey Responsibilities:Actuarial Reporting including Management Information and Financial Performance ActivitiesMonthly Experience Monitoring: Claims; Lapses and CFI’s; New business and In-force policy movement and mix; New business profitability; Ad hoc actuarial requestsData checks and Model-point creation (assistance to Data Analyst)Stress and sensitivity testingPolicy movement analysisRisk and Internal Control management including documentation and maintenance of actuarial controlsActuarial Student (i.e. progress through Core Principles exams)Mathematical or statistical backgroundStrong analytical skillsExperience in SQL, R, Python or ExcelActuarial work experience will be an advantageStrong IT skills and comfortable working on multiple software packages (e.g. sql, R, Phyton, Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Prophet experience will be an advantage)
