Salary: £25,600 - £28,444 per annum

Hours/Contract: Permanent - 35 hours per week

Based: Marie Curie Edinburgh Hospice

We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Coordinator within our Wellbeing Service. The post holder's responsibilities include: organising and supporting the delivery of activities and groups, being involved in the recruitment and support of volunteers and working closely with members of the AHP and Multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic, person centred care.

What we are looking for:

  • NVQ level 2 health and social care or equivalent
  • Understanding of the value of activities in improving health and wellbeing
  • Knowledge of healthcare/social care environments
  • Able to build inclusive relationships with a wide range of people

The successful postholder will organise activities within the Wellbeing, Outpatient and Community Services and ensure their promotion throughout the region while developing a volunteer body capable of supporting the offering.

You will work closely with the Marie Curie MDT and in partnership with other organisations to make arrangements for community activities and develop a diverse service which responds to varying needs.
