Acting Treasury Manager

VolkerWessels UK is a market leading contracting group of five closely linked businesses.We provide integrated and ground-breaking solutions for the civil engineering and construction sectors, with specialisms in rail, highways, airports, marine, defence, energy, water, and environmental infrastructure.VolkerWessels UK has an opportunity for an Acting Treasury Manager to join their Treasury team in Hoddesdon on a fixed term basis for 6 months whilst a current team member is on sabbatical.As the Acting Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for the line management of the Treasury Team and the operation of daily transactional treasury activity, cash management, bank account management, and bonds/bank guarantees. About youEducated to degree levelQualified accountant/Treasury professional such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACTAt least 2 years of corporate Treasury, Cash or Financial Management experiencePrevious exposure to senior level stakeholdersExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsExposure to surety bonds/bank guarantees desirable but not essential If your past experience doesn’t match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
