You’ll become part of a passionate and supportive team in a fast-paced, dynamic and result-driven environment.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, motivated, experienced Land Acquisition Manager to join our growing team. This role will focus on identifying and acquiring new sites for EV charging and complimentary co-locators through partnerships and land deals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UK property law, proven acquisition success, and established connections within the real estate industry in their region.The role will report into the Director of Property.Key tasksResponsible for the growth and development of our EV network through land acquisitions and securing partnership opportunities with property owners/occupiersIdentify, evaluate, negotiate and secure strategic locations for EV charging and appropriate co-locators (e.g. drive thru operators) according to agreed criteriaAssess the feasibility of proposed schemes and have regard for matters such as tenure, boundary issues, existing tenancies and restrictions/covenantsWork with the Design & Engineering team to help evaluate suitable land parcel opportunities and create initial layout designs ahead of landlord and developer consultationNegotiate favourable Heads of Terms for each acquisitions or partnership in line with company expectationsManage external agents working on our behalfInternal and external stakeholder management - working in conjunction with the wider internal team as well as third-party contractors to deliver the programmeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve team successKeep up to date with market and competitor activity and report accordinglyYou will be responsible for ensuring all opportunities within the team are identified, tracked and progress monitored (with assistance from a junior surveyor) to allow you and senior colleagues to have almost real-time updated information to base strategic decisions uponAbout youAt Believ, we are building a culture that attracts and retains the best talent.
