Accounts Supervisor £25,000 - £30,000 Newtownards, Co. DownFull time, permanentOur client is a leading local production business in the Newtownards area who have played a key role within the food industry across the UK and Internationally for over 30 years.We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced accounts professional to lead the finance team whilst working closely with the company management accountant.Join our team as a Finance Supervisor and be part of a dynamic and innovative company!Key Responsibilities:·Monthly Management AccountsLead and support the preparation of monthly management accounts production to trail balance, ensuring accuracy in month-end accruals and cutoffs for the monthly management accounts pack.·Deputise for Management AccountantStep in for the Management Accountant during their absence to ensure continuity and smooth operations.·Year-End Audit SupportAssist in the preparation and support during financial audits of company accounts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.·Ledger SupervisionOversee the Sales/Purchase ledgers for all subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.·Fixed Asset Register MaintenanceManage the Fixed Asset Register and company car records to track assets effectively.·Sales and Profitability ReportingPrepare sales and profitability reports at month-end and year-end, including ad hoc reporting as needed.·Payroll SupervisionSupervise payroll processes using Sage Pay to ensure accuracy and compliance.·Team LeadershipLead the accounts team by delegating and prioritising daily workloads, resolving issues, and providing training and coaching as needed. Liaise with HR as required.What we are looking for;•5 year’s relevant experience in a similar role.•Ideally a Part-qualified Accountant or ATI qualified however not essential•Strong working knowledge of working up to trial balance and assisting with final accounts preparation.•Well organised and reliable•Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities•Excellent communication skills•Experience in leading a team or a more senior finance role•Strong IT skills, Sage 200 and Sage Payroll ideally with Sage 50 knowledge also and an understanding of stock control systems within a manufacturing environment.Join us and become a vital part of our finance team, where your skills and leadership will drive success and growth.Apply now and take your finance career to the next level!
