Accounts Senior

Due to continued growth, our client a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Hull, are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their Business Services team.
You will be working with an interesting and varied portfolio of clients, with a focus on SMEs and OMBs, providing accounts services with regular client liaison.
Ideal for an MAAT and/ or ACCA or ACA PQ/ newly qualified individual working in practice seeking tailored career progression (to Manager) and a fantastic work life balance.

The Role:
Preparation/ review of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
Drafting corporate tax computations
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of monthly management reporting packs
Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with client queries
Attending client meetings
Assisting & mentoring junior staff
You:
ACA / ACCA Part Qualified/ Qualified
MAAT also considered
Practice experience is essential
Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage or Xero (ideally)
Strong written and verbal skills
