If so, this could be the ideal role for you…Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly progressive and well-regarded firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth, are now looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team in Maidstone.The successful individual will undertake a varied and challenging position in which duties will include the preparation of year-end accounts and the associated corporate and personal tax work for a diverse range of clients. You will also be involved with the preparation of management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT work for clients.The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified or at the latter stages of their studies, or you may have already started your ACCA / ACA studies.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their career and skill set within a progressive and forward-thinking firm who are renowned for the emphasis they place on developing their staff.A full study support package will be on offer for individuals to complete their professional qualifications as well as a highly competitive salary and benefits package.Duties & Responsibilities:Accounts preparation for limited companies, LLP's and sole traders.Preparing statutory and management accounts.Preparing and monitoring budgets.Monthly Bookkeeping, management accounting and preparing VAT returns.Balance sheet reconciliations.Production of profit and loss sheets.Personal tax work to include self-assessment tax compliance.Preparing corporation tax computations and CT600 returns.Skills:AAT Part Qualified or Qualified (ACCA Students will also be considered)Experience of working in practice is essentialFor further information on this role please contact Curtis Reid at Clark Wood - ##### / 07825 278674If this specific vacancy is not quite what you are looking for please contact us to investigate alternatives; you can send your CV to this job or contact us directly.
