Accounts Receivable Clerk

Our client, a reputable and growing company in Dudley, is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join their finance team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of incoming cash receipts. Paying up to �26,000 per annum!

What you'll be doing:

• Accurately and efficiently allocate incoming cash receipts to customer accounts.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in bank statements and customer payments.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash transactions.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to maintain accurate customer records and resolve payment queries.
• Monitor and report on aged receivables to ensure timely collection of payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cash transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and financial controls.

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a finance department.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
