We are a market leading organisation with a diverse and inclusive environment.We are seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead, to join the Finance team at Andor.Main function of the jobThe Accounts Payable Team Lead role is an important appointment within the finance department. As the Accounts Payable Team Lead you will oversee and lead the day-to-day operational service delivery of the AP Team. You will be responsible for driving AP efficiency improvements within the business and ensuring high quality services are provided to both our internal and external customers.Key tasks and dutiesManaging a small AP Team ensuring strong productivity to achieve a range of KPI objectives.Creating and monitoring an AP KPI template to be circulated on a monthly basis to relevant personnel within the finance department.Monitoring of the AP query log ensuring timeliness of query resolutionEnsuring the AP mailbox is as up to date as possible and that Supplier queries are responded to on a timely basis. Regular communication with internal/external stakeholders as required.Invoice registration and associated 3-way matching.Support and completion of regular payment runs within the business, including upload of payment file to the bank.Regular supplier statement reconciliations.Ensuring a robust internal controls process is maintained within the AP process.Completion of various reports to include the HMRC's Duty to Report payment practices.Ad hoc tasks to include (and not limited to); Responding to various information requests from internal and external stakeholders, and any other requests relating to the AP function.We are looking for someone with the following:Knowledge and experience of working in an AP function dealing with a high volume & variety of data.Experience of improving process & facilitating change with own area of responsibility.Experience in managing a small number of direct reports to deliver on a range of KPI'sExcellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.Highly organised with good planning and time-management skills.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Flexible and can work as part of a team.Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Highly proactive and positive with a 'can do' attitude.Excellent attention to detailAbout AndorAndor is the global leader in the pioneering and manufacturing of high-performance light measuring solutions, bringing together the latest developments in sensors, electronics, optics and software.
