Accounts Payable Supervisor

The Business & Opportunity:
Fantastic opportunity to join a renowned and established Leeds based business operating within the hospitality and leisure industry. They operate at venues of all sizes and have exclusivity at prominent sporting, entertainment and cultural locations across the UK.
This current requirement is for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their successful £20m turnover operation. Although initially a 6-Month Contract, there is the chance of this progressing further, especially as the business is part of a wider global group, so future progression opportunities may exist.
Requirement:
You will take the lead on all accounts payable requirements and supervise a team of 2 Accounts Payable assistants. This will include:
Input all supplier invoices onto Sage 200 accurately and allocated to the correct general ledger codes.
Ensure sufficient authorisation is obtained to allow payment.
Obtain supplier statements for use with account reconciliation and payment authorisation.
Process weekly supplier payments submissions
Liaise with other Departments and build relationships with relevant suppliers to ensure accurate records.
Supervision of accounts payable assistant and cover for absence if necessary.
