Accounts Payable Specialist

Do you have solid experience in processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payments?Agility Resourcing are working with a reputable client in the Blackburn area who is looking for an accounts payable specialist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.The role is available for someone who has at least two years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.You will be responsible for:Processing invoices and matching them to purchase orders and receiptsReconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepanciesPreparing payment runs and ensuring timely and accurate paymentsMaintaining vendor records and filesAssisting with month-end closing and reportingPerforming other ad-hoc duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have:AAT qualification or equivalentExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlinesThe role is a temporary to permanent position, with a full-time permanent contract available after a 12-week probation period.The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.The salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
