Role Summary The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the Global Accounts Payable Function, maintaining and developing best practice policies, streamlining processes, providing training, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. In addition, the Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for communicating performance metrics to senior management. Responsibilities Develop Key Performance Indicators to monitor performance of the Accounts Payable function, and communicate performance to senior management.Manage Global Accounts Payable team performance, encourage professional development and growth and foster a collaborative work environment.Develop and maintain best practice policies and procedures to streamline Accounts Payable processes.Communicate with critical vendors and stakeholders articulating a unified approach.Act as the focal point for Global Accounts Payable matters and critical vendors.Develop and provide training to Global Accounts Payable teams to distribute work-load between regional teams.Recognize opportunities for enhancement of current Accounts Payable policies and processes, execute these improvements, and assist with the automation of the Accounts Payable function to improve efficiency.Co-ordinate support during internal and external audits.Assist in the maintenance of accurate supplier ledgers across all entities, conducting regular reconciliations and issuing supplier statements for global vendors.Approve vendor bank account changes, when required.Understand Borr’s vision and apply the company values in all business activities.Monitor Accounts Payable compliance with relevant policies and procedures noting any regional requirements.Liaise with other departmental stakeholder to improve the visibility and understanding of the Accounts Payable function (e.g. Supply Chain, Operations, HR).Work with Tax department and Regional Finance Managers to understand and document local tax requirements (VAT, WHT) in the countries we operate in, and assist in ensuring that the Accounts Payable processed followed facilitate compliance with these requirements.Act as an Accounts Payable super-user in our ERP system (IFS). Qualifications and Experience
University degree/Diploma (Accounting and/or finance degree preferred) or equivalent professional experience. Prior Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager experienceExperience in a similar role within a complex global organisation is preferred.Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.Strong understanding of accounting concepts, systems and best practices related to
the Purchase-to-Pay
process.Strong Microsoft Excel working knowledge and ERP experience preferred.Experience working with Business Intelligence tools preferred (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI).Ability to take initiative and work on tasks independently or as part of a team. About Us
