Accounts Payable Controller

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Controller on behalf of an International Law firm, based in Leeds City Centre.As an Accounts Payable Controller, you will be responsible for however not limited to;Completing daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations from multiple bank accounts and in varying currenciesPreparation and processing of client refunds as well as all aspects of Accounts Payable.Resolving queries for both internal and external clientsAssisting and preparing the processing of client refunds in line with the firm's current processes and policiesProviding a high standard of professional customer service to both internal staff and external clients with a high level of both written and verbal communicationEnsuring compliance is in line with the Firm's procedures and, where applicable, local country legal requirements including the appropriate anti money laundering legislationThe successful candidate will have;A strong understanding of transactional financeConsiderable experience in the key duties of the role including Bank Reconciliations and Accounts PayableAttention to detail with a high level of accuracyExperience of working in a multi-currency environment - desirableExperience of working with overseas banks - desirableA self-motivated and pro-active approachThe ablility to deliver to deadlinesGood communication skills, both written and verbalSalary is up to £30,000 depending on your level of experience25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysHybrid working - 2 days in the office and 3 days at home37.5 hours per weekLeeds City Centre officesEnhanced benefits packageIf this opportunity is of interest, please apply within!
