I'm currently looking for an accounts payable clerk to join an established company based within BirminghamRole: Accounts Payable ClerkLocation: Birmingham, Aston Salary: 25,000Working Type: Full Time Hybrid Main function of the job:Perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions across multiple ledgers.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Full oversight of multiple company ledgersAccurate coding of supplier invoices onto Xero Accounting SoftwareLiaise with operational staff on weekly basis to obtain relevant invoice approvalsPreparation of weekly payment runsAccurate payment of invoices in accordance with agreed payment termsAccurate allocation of supplier payments via bank reconciliationStatement reconciliations for all suppliersProduce aged creditor analysis for monthly management accounts board packUpkeep of rent schedulesUpkeep of void/staff rooms reportAd-Hoc Duties as RequiredWhat we're looking for:Advanced Excel Skills including vlookups, pivot tables, etcStrong IT / systems skillsExperience of Xero Accounting Package preferred but not essentialPeople SkillsCommercially focused professionalSupport an open, positive and inclusive working cultureIn return for joining us, we can offer a range of benefits including:Opportunities to progress through our personalised career paths.Free training to help develop and enhance your skills.HealthHero - employee health and wellbeing platform.
