Accounts Payable ClerkWe are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk for a well-established, friendly team at a healthcare provider in the Chesterfield area. The main function of this role is to ensure timely and accurate supplier invoice accounting and payment.The role is a full time 6 month fixed term contract with an immediate start date.As part of your role as Accounts Payable Clerk you'll be responsible for the following:Invoice Validation and authorization alongside goods receipt confirmationSupplier paymentsHandling queries with suppliers and managing conversations to deadlines to support business and suppliers needsPurchase orderingSupplier statement reconciliation and queries, obtain, reconcile, document and resolve reconciliations with third partiesProcess improvementTo be successful for the role:An understanding of VATGood understanding of Sage or other SME finance system purchase ledger processesAAT or CCAB qualification is desirableExcellent understanding of Purchase to Pay processesResilience and persistenceExcel and Microsoft experienceBenefits:Hybrid working, with flexible start and finish timesFree parking available on site for staffNearby amenities, cafes and shopsSupportive teamPensionIf you're interested in this position, please get in touch today!To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
