As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be tasked with processing invoices meticulously, ensuring accuracy by verifying all necessary documentation and approvals. Your responsibilities will include entering invoices into the accounting system, ensuring correct coding and classification. You'll also handle the setup of new supplier accounts, confirming payment details, and reconciling supplier statements to resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise. Collaboration with internal departments will be essential for addressing invoice-related matters efficiently. Additionally, you'll prepare weekly payment runs, process payments through the online banking system, and accurately record all transactions in the cashbook, reconciling them with bank statements. You'll assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable and provide support to the wider finance team in various ad hoc projects as needed.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent

Accounts Payable Administrator Experience & Skills:

Previous experience working within an accounts payable team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence to challenge and escalate in an appropriate manner.
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Intermediate / advanced level in Microsoft Office applications.
