ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSOCIATE LONDON (HYBRID)
UP TO £35KTHE COMPANY:We're proud to be partnering with a leading provider of sportswear and apparel to both consumer and professional sport teams.Ideally coming from a retail background, the Accounts Payable and Finance Assistant will play a role in the day-to-day operations of finance; ensuring both timely and accurate payment to suppliers, processing transactional level data to ensure that accurate financial information can be reported to the key business stakeholders.THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSOCIATE:Monitoring of key Accounts Payable inboxes and responding to queriesProcessing purchase invoices and credit notes, for both central as well as international region expensesEnsure invoices are correctly authorised at the relevant levelPerforming reconciliations of supplier statements and resolving any discrepanciesManaging supplier accounts, ensuring timely payment of creditorsPreparation of payment runsTaking ownership of the end-to-end accounts receivable processCompleting credit checks on new customersCreation of new customer accounts on Microsoft NavisionReview and issuing of sales invoices, credit memos and statements to customersManaging debt collection of debtorsRunning a high volume AR inbox, proactively and promptly resolving queriesTHE PERSON:Previous experience working within the purchase ledger is essential or Accounts Clerk, Accounts Assistant, Finance AssistantExperience within retail/ecommerce desirableExperience working in a multicurrency environment would be helpful but not essentialGood interpersonal and communication skillsReliable, self-disciplined, speed, and accuracy are essential.Excellent attention to detailAbility to prioritise workload and work to deadlinesStrong attention to detailInitiative and can-do attitudeAdaptable and flexibleTeam playerAn interest in sport and the business culture is an advantageTO APPLY:Please send your CV for the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Associate role via the advertisement for immediate consideration.Get Recruited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
