Due to business growth, we currently have a new opportunity for an Accounts Manager to join our Business Services team. As Accounts Manager, you'll be a pivotal player in delivering exceptional client service that aligns with our high standards. Your role will encompass managing a portfolio of 4-1 grade clients on behalf of our partners, whilst managing a small team, ensuring their professional development.
About the role:
- Oversee a portfolio of clients, including reviewing draft financial statements, ensuring timely filing of year-end financial statements, and tax returns (both Corporate and Personal).
- Elevate portfolio performance by aligning with department KPIs, driving efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
- Assist in the development of team members, providing guidance and feedback to associates during training.
- Manage and motivate junior team members across different experience levels, maintaining high work standards and helping them develop through regular appraisals.
- Actively champion diversity and equality within our teams, ensuring an inclusive and supportive work environment.
About you:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (QBE candidates may also be considered)
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Experience of working in a client-facing role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
- Experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams at various career stages
- A passion for providing excellent customer service
