Accounts Manager

Job Description
We are recruiting an Accounts Manager to join a chartered accountancy firm in Lewes, East Sussex as part of their busy Business Services team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a leading independent firm of chartered accountants in a role where you can develop your skills and progress your career.
In this key role you will be part of a professional and supportive team, looking after a portfolio of mainly SME clients, preparing year end accounts and tax computations and management accounts and being a point of contact for client queries and advice. You will also be supervising and mentoring more junior members of the team and liaising with other departments in the firm.
The firm have an excellent reputation for the quality and range of their work, and for being an employer who provide ongoing training and support as well as flexibility and lots of social events.
About you
Extensive recent accounts preparation/review experience gained in an accountancy firm
Probably ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified
Good working knowledge of cloud based accounting software such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks
Organised, detail minded with strong communication skills, keen to work closely with clients
