As a result they are looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to support the deliver of a range of accounts and tax services to a varied portfolio of clients in their lead Newcastle office.This is a non-audit role that would suit an ACA or ACCA Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE Client Manager on either a full time or reduced hours basis.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, predominantly made up of owner managed businesses, and will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently for clients within your designated portfolio.The workload will be primarily focused towards the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns as the majority of clients will have turnovers ranging to the audit threshold.The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking an Accounts and Tax focused position within a client facing environment and will have gained significant exposure to a range of clients, particularly those within the SME and OMB markets.This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join an established and forward thinking firm where there will be genuine scope for career developmentSkills:ACA / ACCA Qualified / Qualified By ExperienceExcellent understanding of the accounting and tax requirements of SMEsExperience of staff and client managementFor further information on this role please contact Richard Kinsey at Clark Wood – ##### / 07949 239757If this specific vacancy is not quite what you are looking for please contact us to investigate alternatives; you can send your CV to this job or contact us directly.
