Proactive Personnel is currently working with a successful Property Renovation & Lettings company based in Derby to recruit an accounts manager to join their team.
You will be responsible for reviewing & reconciling all company accounts & processing payments to the external supply chain, internal payroll & maintaining up-to-date records.
Responsibilities & Experience
- Ensure all accounting documentation is correctly stored, updated and highly visible.
- Analyse transaction records to comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Receive and verify billing and requisitions on all goods and services.
- Contact clients to capture timely payments.
- Maintain the authenticity and integrity of the company’s accounting affairs.
- Oversee all outstanding supplier, customer, and third-party vendor obligations.
- Process, send, and store all bank deposits and invoices.
- Identify and address discrepancies in all documentation.
- Update all databases and spreadsheets related to accounting.
- Experience with Xero
- Dext experience is beneficial
- Strong understanding of administration and accounts procedures and best practices.
- Impeccable time-management skills.
- Capability to stay organised and maintain detailed records.
- Experience in data entry.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving technical skills.
- The ability to produce reports and present them clearly and confidently
- Computer literacy
Salary - £25,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
