Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood is working with a well-regarded firm of chartered accountants in the Banbury area who are looking to add an ambitious Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have already begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is keen to develop their career within a forward-thinking and well-respected firm in Banbury. There will be genuine prospects for career development with the successful person progressing into a senior role within the firm.Duties & Responsibilities:Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returnsPreparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnershipsAssist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectivesAssist senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premisesSkills:AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA Students or Part QualifiedExperience in working with Owner Managed BusinessExperience of assisting on audit assignmentsFor further information on this role please contact Jack Wood at Clark Wood – ##### / 07951 392741
