You will be tasked with building and nurturing long-term client relationships with both new and existing clients.As an Audit & Accounts Manager you will be responsible for reviewing the planning, field work, and completion of statutory audit assignments for clients including substantial group structured entities and those from specialist sectors. Completing assignments for clients under your control for partner/director review will be an important aspect of the role, highlighting any issues for discussion with the client ahead of key meetings and presentations.Aside from the audit aspect of the role you will be involved in the provision of a diverse range of services. You will be responsible for reviewing year-end accounts prepared by members of your team as well as corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns. You will oversee the preparation of client bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts and year-end accounts, providing support and guidance to your team as required.You will also be involved in staff management and will be tasked with aiding in the training and development of the team. You will make sure staff are suitably trained and supervised and provide feedback to them at the end of each assignments.The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified and will have experience of managing the audit process for multiple clients.
