Job Title: Senior Accounts Assistant

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Contract Details: Temp to Perm

Salary: �26,000 + depending on experience

About Our Client:

Our client is a reputable accounting firm located in Sutton Coldfield. They are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports
  • Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and reports required by regulatory authorities
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Manage and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the accounts manager and directors
  • Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business
  • Providing support in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Liaising with clients and resolving any accounting-related queries
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • AAT Qualified or equivalent
  • Solid experience working in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in using accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Technologies:

  • Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
