Accounts Assistant

NXTGEN has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to grow their career within a dynamic and expanding local accountancy firm, in their Bury St Edmund's office. As the new Accounts Assistant you will to join a vibrant team at an exciting time for the firm. You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation and analysis of client accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices, payments, and expenses with precision.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

What you'll need:

• Prior experience working in an Accountancy firm
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
