Job Description:
Our client is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant who is meticulous and detail-oriented to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with various accounting responsibilities to ensure the seamless operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices, track against orders, and resolve discrepancies.
- Enter invoices accurately into the ledger using Hubdoc.
- Generate and dispatch student invoices, conduct reconciliations, and assist in day-to-day accounts operations.
- Initiate BACS runs, assist with journals, and reconcile credit card payments.
- Handle inquiries, process new staff, ensure GDPR compliance, and manage payroll and pension schemes.
- Undertake ad hoc duties and renew utility contracts as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Sage, Xero, and Hubdoc.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with GDPR and payroll processing is beneficial.
