Accounts Assistant

You: The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Previous Accounts Assistant experience Previous Purchase Ledger experience Ideally, studying towards an accountancy qualification or keen to do so Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office. Good Excel knowledge is essential.
The role:
Overseeing the purchase ledger Managing employee expense claims and company credit card expenses. Reconciling cash payments to all bank accounts. Posting cash payments to the ledger Setting up supplier payments on the bank Overseeing petty cash postings and reconciliations. Overseeing the aged debt collection process Assist the Financial Controller with month-end management accounts. This will include, but not be limited to, accruals/prepayments, Fixed Assets, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and journal postings to the ledger.
