Accounts Assistant Graduate - Stockport

My client is a Distribution and logistics company who are looking for a recent graduate to help the finance director with the finance duties. You'll be working and reporting to the finance director where you'll gain valuable experience and take ownership of some of the tasks given to you. The company has a good culture and no one has left in 25years due to the family atmosphere and fair and hands on leadership by the Managing Director.You will be responsible for:Producing management accounts and budgetsPosting of invoicesBank reconciliationsMaintaining Sage accounts and internal controlsLiaising between various departments and working with our customersCo-ordinating the purchase ledger and rent accounting systemsPreparing paymentsPosting journals and general office dutiesIncluding ICT support and administrationMust have a 2:1 or above in Accountancy / Maths / Economics / BusinessProficient spreadsheet and ICT skillsStrong numeracy, literacy and accuracy skillsAbility to work to tight deadlinesGood written and oral communication skillsCommitment to high standards of service deliveryA professional approach and can-do attitudeIf you are interested in this role please contact John Devlin at Agility Resourcing.Please note due to the large volume of applications we receive for these roles, if we have not contacted you within 7 days then unfortunately your application hasn't been successful, however we may contact you regarding other roles.
