Accounts Assistant - Blyth

Our client, a fast-moving and growing organisation, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their Finance team as an Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and high-growth business.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with the Finance Director and the rest of the Finance team. With full training and career development opportunities, you will have the chance to take on responsibilities and contribute to the continued success of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet management, fixed assets register maintenance, and nominal procedures.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations, VAT Returns, and other accounting duties.
  • Collaborate within the Finance team, providing flexibility in your role and gaining experience in various finance areas.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • High proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred (but not essential):

  • Experience with SAGE.

Remuneration:

  • �25,000 to �30,000 per annum, depending on experience, for a full-time position.
  • Fully funded financial and study time support for professional training.
  • Private medical scheme and defined contribution pension scheme.
  • 33 days holiday (inclusive of 8 statutory days) and a bonus scheme.
