Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a local Oldbury based business who are seeking an Accounts Administrator to start immediately.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Duties and tasks will include:

  • Process supplier payments through online banking system
  • Credit control
  • Produce sales and purchase ledger reports for MD to show what is due in out each month
  • Sales and purchase ledger month end and year end
  • Credit card statements through Pegasus/ opera
  • Nominal ledger month end and year end
  • ADI rebate credits
  • Ensure all accounts information is provided to the accountants at the end of each quarter
  • Check bank daily and update payments on to sales/ purchase/ nominal ledger
  • Sales/ purchase ledger queries
  • General administration
  • Assisting other departments in company as and when needed

Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

  • Accounts experience
  • Administrative experience
  • Knowledge of Pegasus opera 3 software is preferred but not essential
