The successful candidate will be involved in the timely and accurate processing of the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment, detail oriented and a team player.The day to day:Help manage the workflow for monthly, quarterly and annual close processesCoordinate with third parties to manage Statutory reporting requirementsPerform regular analysis of operating expenses to ensure accurate reportingBring insights and suggestions for potential process improvementsAssist with SEC filings and SOX complianceAbility to work independently and across multiple time zonesAd hoc and special projectsWhat you will bring to the role:ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA qualified or have an equivalent qualificationStrong knowledge of US GAAP, other EMEA and APAC standards are also beneficialTenured post qualification experience, ideally within the technology and/or creative media businessindustryStrong understanding of financial reporting processes and controlsPrevious experience in public accounting, Medium - Big firms preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (required)Knowledge of Workday financial management system as a plus but not a requirementWhy Shutterstock:You have a direct impact on the success of the company.
