Accounting Analyst (Hybrid)

Afternoon all, my client in Basingstoke has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract with potential long term/permanent opportunities!If you have experience with reconciliations and exposure to cash flow as well as being immediately available or available on short notice then this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation.Client DetailsWell-established business in Basingstoke with numerous perks such as hybrid working and long term opportunities!DescriptionAccountingCompiling a weekly 13 week and rolling 12-month cash forecast of incoming and outgoing payments for all currencies.Update and submit monthly cash flow actuals to group treasury within agreed timelines.Preparation and submission of borrowing base certificate (BBC) deliverables to group treasury to support asset back loan monthly reporting requirements.Reconciliation of indirect and direct cash flow with variance analysis.Full responsibility of European treasury management and primary contact to global treasury team.Balance Sheet ReconciliationsFull responsibility for reconciling all bank accounts and business credit cards on a monthly basisPreparation of journals for bank transactions, hedging, interest and other key accounts.Proactively working with AR and AP to resolve reconciling items and queries.AdhocResponsible for keeping bank administration including corporate credit cards up to date.Supporting accounting and tax teams on monthly/annual submissions.Proactive involvement in ad hoc projects - supporting the Financial Controller & Group treasury to implement treasury projectsPerforms other related duties and assignments as requiredProfileExcellent Excel skillsGood attention to detailSelf-motivated, able to work on own initiative with minimal supervisionEnergetic, highly motivated individual with initiative and ability to question the 'status quo'Quick learner, logical thinker, numerically minded and reliableExcellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the businessJob OfferHybrid workingLong term opportunitiesIn depth trainingTeam working focus
