Accountant

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an international, well-established manufacturing business in Chorley. This client has a brilliant reputation on the market and they are looking to recruit an Accountant from a manufacturing background to join them due to growth of the business. Reporting to the European Head of Accounting, this role will involve the production of management/financial statements as well as the financial reporting for a number of legal entities. You will also be required to analyse all financial data and upcoming projects to support decision-making efforts and drive efficiencies for the business.
Duties:
Completion of Management/Financial Accounting for all assigned legal entities to group.Prepare or oversee all balance sheetsReport on gross margins and periodic variances.Produce budget/forecasts and analysis around materials and inventory.Analyse and review monthly spending trends with Operations management team.Deliver a comprehensive and professional service to all stakeholders.
Requirements:
ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant/Finalist/QBEExperience in working within a Manufacturing business is desirable but not essential.Strong communication skills to be able to effectively partner with other areas of the businessExcellent analytical skillsHardworking attitude and proactive approach to improve processesAdvanced Excel skills
