As an Accountant, you will have the opportunity to support the growth and operations of diverse accounts across the country.What you'll be doing:Job Overview: As an Operations Accountant you will be part of the Corporate Team reporting to a Revenue Manager. In this role you are responsible for performing accounting functions including billing, inventory reporting, and commission payment calculations in support of the Operations Management teams.Key Accountabilities:Ensures accurate records for billing of clients for assigned unitsEnsures accuracy of processing cash management information including but not limited to cash sales verification, point of sale reconciliations, bank deposits and meal pay plus transactionsMaintains accurate accounts receivable management information including but not limited to client information, invoice payments, and commission processing within the applicable systemEnsures accurate processing of inventory for applicable operating unitsPrepares and completes assigned balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of weekly/monthly journal entriesWhat we're looking for:Minimum Qualifications Required:Associates Degree or Equivalent ExperienceOne to four years of experience in financial accountingKnowledge of basic accounting principles and recording journal entriesAbility to make judgments concerning the interpretation of policies and proceduresExperience with excel, intermediate knowledge requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and its reporting tools i.e. Management Reporter, and SmartViewSkills Required:Must have excellent oral and written communications skillsStrong attention to detailBuild relationships with internal and external business partnersAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesMust be able to work with little or no supervision in a team environment - self-motivatedStrong organizational skills to maintain appropriate files and reportsWhere you'll be working:Hybrid schedule in Ridgeland, MS.Our Benefits:Medical (FT Employees)DentalVisionVoluntary UNUM offering for Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital IndemnityDiscount ProgramCommuter Benefits (Parking and Transit)EAP401kSick TimeHoliday Pay (9 paid holidays)Tuition Reimbursement (FT Employees)Paid Time OffAbout Elior North America:Elior North America is an equal opportunity employer.
