Reed Finance is working with a leading service providerin Bristol recruiting for an Accountant to join their friendly team.
Salalry up to £49,750Hybrid working - 2 days in the officeCareer progression Responsibilities:
Responsible for, accounts payable, accounts receivable & credit control / invoicing functions within the finance department.Ownership of monthly management accounts, trial balance preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, accruals & prepayments.Support the preparation of monthly performance packs for management and any other ad-hoc analysis of financial information.Preparation of VAT returns and assist with the corporation tax pack.Key contact with internal & external auditors and completion of audit requests.Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts, pension acounting and filing of accounts.Ensure company audit, risk & compliance controls are adhered to and updating of risk matrix for ARAC committee.Data Protection, Audit & Risk duties, Company polices & Performance m/mentCoordination of data for performance management & system improvementsProvide advice and guidance to other finance team members and non-finance staff on accounting matters and use of financial systemsStakeholder management with insurance companies, banking institutions and council / external audit departments.
