Accountant

This growing services organisation based near Farnham are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team. You will be joining a professional organisation that has gone through an exciting period of transformation and offers a great working environment. This role will be offered on a hybrid working basis and will suit a QBE or qualified individual who has worked in a multi-client facing role. Due to the location you will need to be a car driver and you will ideally be available at short notice.

Accountant - About The Role

In this role you will be working in a finance team of 4 and reporting into the Finance Director. You will work with multiple clients and support the set-up process for new businesses. Prior experience in a multiple client role would be hugely advantageous.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Review and production of management accounts, including providing full commentary and analysis


• Preparation and review of statutory accounts


• Set-up of accounting reporting packs for new clients


• Production and advice on monthly cash flows


• Consultancy projects including forecasting and planning


• Approving of supplier and employee payment runs


• Working alongside the other accountants and supporting with any queries


• Preparing and filing VAT returns

The successful Accountant will have:

• Previous experience in a similar position


• Experience in a multi-client role


• Advanced Excel skills


• Ability to communicate at all levels
